Bringing Taiwan's favourite night market snack to Melburnians. Loved by old and young, wheel cakes are delicious and very addictive.
The wheel cake or ""chelún bing" is the Taiwanese form of a Japanese snack called "imagawayaki". It was named the wheel cake due to being circular and round just like the wheels of a car. Usually found at Taiwanese night market stalls, wheel cakes are made on waffle pans and are crispy on the outside and soft, buttery and a little spongy on the inside.
Treat yourself to delicious pastries at Disc Taiwan Wheel Cake in the QV Food Hall. From vanilla custard and oreo to taro, they've got a variety of flavours to satisfy every palate.
